System is 7100 w\PRI handoff from IPFlex and V4.53c. Firmware is old, however system has been working fine for several years. Recently customer started getting 50-100 calls per day. CID only says :705 but no one there. Based on logs it doesn't appear to be an actual external call coming in. The 1st channel in the PRI is 705. I busy out the channel but just comes in on next channel. If the keyset is unplugged, the call just goes to the next extension. Customer finally just unplugged the phones since it was receiving these calls all night. Is there an anomaly that would cause the system to be calling itself or something else causing this problem? Thanks in advance.

As a work around you could try turning on did error tone in MMC210.

I would look at the SMDR to see if it is the system calling itself or if it's getting a random call in.

Verify PRI trunk data, make sure switch/operator type matches carrier switch, ie NI-1,NI-2...Is the PRI using all 23 B channels or just some B channels

Thanks nameless. MMC210 change did solve one previous issue. Waiting to see if it helped current issue. Also looking at some SMDR packages to get more detailed logging.

Thanks ceitech for your input. I did check those previously and is same as before the call problem.
