I'm supporting an Inter-Tel switch using Axxess 5.1. I've looked thru the admin guide and can't find anything that addresses this, probably because I don't know the correct terminology. I have an extension that shows 'night mode' whenever the receptionist puts the system on night mode. I did feature 9860 from this extension, but it turned the whole system off, so I turned it back on. Any hints as to where I can look to remove this extension from the list of administrative extensions?

It's a flag in programming.
You'd need session manager to turn it off.

Go to System\Station-Related Information\Flags\Administrator. Right-click on the station you want to remove and select 'Remove Selected Item'. Wave hands in air as if you just don't care.

thx! I never would have seen that. So I did that, the 2 phones were in there but I removed them. But the phones still show as night mode as soon as the receptionist puts the system in night mode. Is there somewhere else i need to change this? Or do I need to restart axxess? thx!

Are you sure that you were connected to the fone system when you made the change? The bottom of the DB Studio screen will say 'remote'. If you're sure you were connected, go to one of the fones and dial 'Infinity', 9860. Reply back w/ what the fone screen reads.

SuperFoneGuy, it's direct connect (via cable) as the computer is next to the Inter-Tel box. the stations now don't appear to be admin any more, as when i tried to that function it said 'reserved' and before it worked. so they aren't admin's any longer, but how do i turn off night mode on those? everyone else doesn't display that when the receptionist goes to lunch / leaves. that was my original issue i thought i could resolve by removing them from admins. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Is it a key that shows night mode, or the screen of the fone? If it's the screen, I guess maybe rebooting the system (after a database save) might fix that.
