Very strange issue. New install about 80 1416's Some have printing on them, some dont. Thats the 1 st thing. 2nd issue The sets with no printing work with Plantronics wireless headset as follows, Put headset on, press headset button and you get dialtone, make call. The sets with printing on works as follows: put headset on, and you must lift handset to get dialtone Has anyone seen this or know anything about it?

Avaya has started shipping phones without English labels, just the picture icons. I don't like them, but that's what we are getting. If you are using the EHS cables with the Plantronics headsets, it supposed to work that turning on the wireless headset turns on the headset button on the phone. You might look at the Advanced/Call Setting options to see if they are the same between sets.

Same EHS cables and headsets on all the phones? Have you tried swapping cables and headsets to see what happens?
