Have a weird problem. Have a small customer with a new r 9.1 ip office essentials. The secretary would listen to message in general mailbox and save them. Then go back in and transfer to proper people's mailbox. Those folks sometimes get the entire message and some times partial. Also a few times the end guy would listen and Dave then go back and have only the partial message the next time he listened. So we thought we had a bad chassis or card or whatever. Yesterday we swapped everything. Including the SD card with new licenseS. Plus we did a brand new configuration instead of copying anything over. Guess what. same thing happened this pm.
New hardware. New SD card. New programming. Old stuff never touched the new stuff.
Help. What would you do? Never had this anywhere else

4 ports on 4 lines and 6 sets. Because the install was just done 13 hours before the mailboxes were nearly empty. But we will try this. Someone told us visual maul can sometimes have a bump in the road so we are disabling that feature on Main phone for a few days. Just using prompt the audio prompts

SD card could be corrupt. You could try to rebuild the card and see if the problem exists....

Thanks. We had Avaya transfer the license to a new SD card and reprogrammed from the ground up. Issue on old SD card and issue om new SD card. Chances of 2 cards having same issue is small don't you think. We are baffled.

There hasn't even been a Service Pack release for 9.1 yet, so you should probably raise the issue with Avaya by way of your distributor. It may be a know issue, with a private build for resolution until the service pack comes out, and if not, it gets the ball rolling to have it addressed.

Actually, I take that back. 9.1 Service Pack 1 was released on March 13, and is covered in Technical Bulletin 178, which is not available on the knowledgebase, but is linked from the 9.1.1.0.10 download page. Unfortunately, there are only 3 resolved field issues, none of which have to do with embedded voicemail.
