I've got a customer with an SV9100 sw 1.80 that is complaining about a hiss on the line. The system only has 1 analog line on it and there is dsl on the line but it is properly filtered. Just the one person is complaining, no one else hears it, but she's the boss. I've done the NEC side tone auto setup (90-68-01) and put a noise filter on the line but she still hears a slight hiss. Has anyone else heard of this? Thanks.

Sounds like she has over sensitive hearing. You'll most likely end up pulling out the system as she's the boss..

Is it possible her volume is set to high?

I wished it was that easy. The only time I even hear it is if I turn the volume way up.

Are you saying she hears the hiss at a lower volume setting?

Maybe she is turning the volume up all on some calls, the her phone retains this setting for the next call and she get the hiss until she volumes down.
If this is the case set her phone to retain system settings so it defaults back to half volume on the next call.
