Have a Magix system with "Processor W/CKE5", MOH is plugged into a LS-ID port, and is wired into a pot, then to the 8 ohm output on a stereo, issues with the audio, obviously, as they only are getting one of the channels. I see a "coupler" out there and assume any which way it should be on a line out instead of a speaker out?

I think that the source should be 600 ohms.

What exactly is the problem? That they are only hearing one channel or something else? 8 ohm or 600 ohm into the system shouldn't make any difference.

If the audio source is stereo, change it to mono or just adjust the output channel all the way to the left. The couplers are relatively inexpensive, I'd recommend picking one up.

WHAT "coupler"?? Not only do we not know the problem, I have no idea what you guys are calling a "coupler".

The MOH coupler used with the Legend and Magix systems to connect the MOH feed to an available line input on a Merlin 800LS/GS-ID.

Similar to the one used with the old Partner processor.

Easy, Hal! Google Legend (or Magix) Music on Hold Coupler, and you'll find this:
[Linked Image from touchtonetommy.com]
The other side (that you can't see in the picture) has a 6P2C jack, connect a line cord from that to a LS/GS trunk port on the Legend/Magix, and program it as the MOH trunk in system programming

Yes, but I think the OP thinks those two RCA jacks are a stereo input...

I didn't assume Stereo input, had a momentary dream of such, but I can't remember coming across anything that actually had a stereo input..... Mostly its the current input is subject to the volume knob on the front of the stereo it comes out of (along with the ceiling speakers etc), and it is only taking one of the channels, I assume coming out of the tape monitor port would simplify my life.

A line level output should work. Is purchasing a dedicated MOH device doable? If using any copywritten material, please make sure everything is in compliance. Rulez smile
