I've got an extension that would ring even while it was on DND so I removed the extension, the VM box associated with it and even deleted the extension off the card and re-added it.
Well, now the DND functions correctly but this extension is seems to be stuck on the system greeting "Hello, JOHN DOE, is not available, press 1 to leave a message or 2 to return to the system". We've selected primary greeting in both the mailbox as well as via db programming. Any idea what gives?
Also - is there any way to specify the amount of rings a phone does before going to VM? It seems that this phone will ring 15-20 times before FINALLY going to VM versus the rest of our phones that ring 5-7 times.

Check the forward path.
Ensure that system forwarding in enabled under Station Flags.
