Anyone ever have an issue with email gateway using godaddy. I've tried all of their ports with and without TLS/SSL and i always get the same response: NOTICE - SMTP Message 00000014, Time: 5.68s, Retry after 600s WARNING - SMTP Begin session with Server smtpout.secureserver.net:3535 failed. ReplyCode 501 p3plsmtpa12-06.prod.phx3.secureserver.net closing connection
I know my credentials are correct because i can send an email through the same server and settings via Telnet.
**Edit- Nevermind, Samsung doesn't support GoDaddy for email gateway anymore as they changed something with the syntax.

It's actually a problem that more and more providers are locking down their mail servers.
The syntax that is causing the problems is the helo request from the PBX. After some serious hassles capturing the data it turns out when the domain field in the system parameters and mclass is blank the PBX for some reason decides to add "/r/n" to the request. Don't know why, maybe Samsung can fix it in the next version.
Anyway lots of mail servers (including GoDaddy and Shaw here in Canada) now reject the request. Freaking annoying.
So, simple fix after all. Just enter the host id information in the domain field as well and it should do the trick.
Cheers,

Why wouldn't you enter all the information in the first place?
Just put the domain as 1 of the customer's email domains

Cheers, Unfortunately that fix doesn't work with GoDaddy, per TS. We tried it and one email went through and the rest afterwards failed. I did notice that on telnet GoDaddy doesn't respond to the first HELO but it will the second time.
