Anyone else been having issues using Firefox to program NEC SV or SL systems. It appears since a update I can no longer type Alpha Characters in WebPro and apply the change. It shows the leters but will not let me apply. Tried on multiple computers. I prefer Firefox over Explorer it seems more stable. I won't use Chrome way too unstable with the NEC product. Just curious if anyone else is having the same issue and if they found a solution to fix the issue?

IE is the only supported browser. Ever wonder WHY other browsers are faster? They use a reduced instruction set.

The latest Win 10 Spartan browser will not work on the SL / SV systems ether..
Guess NEC-J will have to sort out their webserver interface..

Well, there's always Maxthon - it's fast, (maybe the fastest browser yet) "plays well" with Adobe, and works well with the WebPro sites note though: it comes configured "Ultra -> Retro" change the rendering engine/browser core to "Retro -> Ultra" (it's a single click in settings) I now use it (the Maxthon browser) most of the time / FAR BETTER than Firefox in my humble opinion and experience https://www.maxthon.com/(and works just as well in most flavors of Linux) Don . . .

Just downloaded it .
Maxthon is a fast browser but won't work in the SV9100 as I suspect it's based on the Chrome browser.

Hello Paul . . .
Hey there, I did mention you must use the "other" (alternate) Maxthon rendering engine. Maxthon calls them Ultra and Retro - (which I assume are webkit and trident) When you were in Maxthon, did you see a "lightening bolt" at the top of the page? (at the end of the URL bar) You can either click that or change it in settings. Maxthon is a dual display engine. It works! I just un-installed the version I had and reinstalled the latest version of Maxthon from the web to be sure. It still works fine. I use it nearly 100% of the time. Click that lightening bolt. The lightening bolt MUST go away and a little blue symbol with a line through it will appear. Now it will work. I just logged in to our SV9100 and made changes. You want "trident" or what they call retro (what IE uses) As it comes, you're right. It's set to the "chrome mode." (ULTRA)

Paul . . . If it doesn't work, let me know what area you were in at that time please.
