I recently added a 6 button card dialer to my collection - the early model where the line button had the lamp next to the PU key, and the PU button could 'wiggle' (for lack of an official name). The plastic buttons are yellow and some cloudy. Any recommendations on the best way to restore them (lots of conflicting advise on UTube)? Thanks for your expertise!

You can take the normal ones apart, like a 565 or 2565, by gently prying and sliding the metal "u" shaped bracket off. It sounds like that is what yours may have. You can clean and polish each button individually. Most of the time, a good cleaning will work. If not, I carefully run them in the buffer.
