All,

I've got a 3 node CS-5200 system running 2.3 with UM at the central site (node 1). Remote nodes have BVM. All users have mailboxes on the UM at the central site.

I'm trying to create a CRA on each node that allows for an option to Transfer to Mailbox - Is there a way to transfer to a off-node mailbox? DB Studio seems to only let me choose from the local mailboxes.

Basically I'm trying to create the same app on each node so that the caller stays local and doesn't have to come across the network to the central node for the app. This is my "Continue to Hold" app I've posted about earlier.

Thanks!!

So you want the app to be local, but the mailbox offsite?
Just curious, why would you not want the app to be on the same VM as the mailbox?

The app must be on the same node as the mailbox.

I figured it out - I just pointed it to a CRA that timesout to the VM box that was local on the UM server.

I only have 1 UM server that covers my 3 (soon to be 7) sites. I want the calls to stay local (to reduce bandwith requirements) as much as possible - thus my inability to have the main app on the same node as the vm box.

I appreciate everyone's input on this!

Thanks,

Matt
