I have a customer who was given a Toshiba CTX28. I can connect with Emanager and get into the programming. We need to get the voicemail to answer on a 4-5 ring delay. The customer has 2 POTS lines. I can get the AA to answer immediately or not at all, but having trouble with a delay. Can anyone point me to the programming area I should look at to find this? Thanks.

Hello,

The first this is to make sure the System call forward template is working correctly, and when you call an extension it will forward to voicemail.

Set you trunks DIT to ether a Phantom DN on one of the phones, or setup a Multiple call group. I like multiple call groups myself.

When using a phantom, the lines ringing is designated by the line keys on each extension. You can assign an owner, or I have found you can leave the owner blank if you need anyone controlling the forwarding.

Either method make sure that the SCF template is set to go to voicemail and the VMID is blank. n both cases there is a single system call forward timer for that controls all forwarding.

I agree with David I use MCG(Multiple Call Groups) to set up ringing and it is also nice to use the MCG's for the Day1, Day2, Night modes.
