I have a Merlin Legend 7.0? with 54 telephones, 2 cabinets and a 6 port MLM007 in the second cabinet. Red lite is on the processor and I do not know what the alarm is. The voice mail sometimes works and sometimes not. It has the flash drive not a hard drive. I have tried changing the entire MLM out with a known good and it will not boot up when the system doesn't want to work. I have gone to the site 3 times and when I get there it works fine. Then overnite it does not respond in the morning. Power sup[ply? Bad card in a slot before the MLM007? Anyone had this issue or suggest what next to try? The admin port 0102 is dead. Thanks

first of all, you should have use of SPM to shoot any problems with a Merlin, as someone has changed the programing port,
the red light is a permanent error, and could be an error such as someone tried to dial an outside line and no dial tone in the pool after system being down, MLM could be programmed wrong, wrong ports?

You have more than VM problems. You need to get into the system with SPM and take a look. You're just shooting in the dark. SPM and do a print.

Yep. My merlin guru is coming out with spm to check it. I changed out both power supplies over the weekend. Worked fine later Saturday. This morning it does not respond internally or dialing in from outside. Thanks for the responses.
