Have a customer that has 1 extension that when a intercom call comes in the speaker volume is normal at first then quickly drops drop to a level that is just barely audible.
It started out very intermittently but now happens every time.
I have swapped extensions and power-cycled the ksu with no luck.
Has anyone seen this or have any ideas?
Thanks, John

If you changed phone sets with one that works fine, then I would say its just age catching up with the system. You might need to change extension ports and flex the number and see if that works around the problem.

the microphones on some of those 3515 phones were super hot!! Try turning the volume down or hit the mute key when it comes in and see if it stays the same. I bet the microphone is picking something up and cutting it down.
