Hello,

I have a TDE-600 with a TVA-50. I have setup the following procedure:

A call ends in the AA of the TVA-50. When the caller choose a certain menu he gets asked to enter a password. Now I want if the caller enter the correct password he should be transferred to an outside VOIP Trunk where he can call any number that he wish. Is this possible?
I got this procedure working with a trunk line on a ELCOT16 card. After the caller dialed the correct password I do a transfer to an outside line (In my case the system do the operation transfer to outside with the value 311# - the 311 is the number for a certain outside trunk). After a few seconds the caller hears a dialtone of the trunk and then he can call his number that he want. However, it is not working with the SIP trunk.
My question is: Is this procedure possible? Or does the TVA has limitation unsupervised transfers.

Thanks for your input

Why not use DISA?

Is DISA a build in feature or do I need to buy an optional card?

It sounds like you are giving them the line and they can dtmf out on that line
Try giving them access to internal dial tone and let them dial 9 plus number. I would think the problem is the way sip works with enbloc dialling.

Thanks OBT for your response. How can the TVA give someone a internal dialtone that is not guided? I can transfer a call to an internal extensions, but how can I hand over a call to the internal dial tone?

Yes thinking a bit more about it, I can see the difference between it working with pstn and not sip. The system using analogue line does not need to be connected to a completed call but sip would.

Use Disa or use sip to analogue converters and connect it to co card.
