I have setup 2 avaya ip offices in a SCN connected over a wan, the connection is fine. i would however like to use a prefix in the extension to distinguish calls to site B. some of the extensions on both site A and B are identical thats why i need a prefix. Any help here?

Add a 1 to each ext at 1 site.

You need to have unique extensions on SCN. I typically use a 3 digit, and do site A as 100's and Site B as 200's, etc..

I plan to set up a SCN with 10 to 12 sites so I came up with a number plan like this -- xx00 Inside Sales ACD Dept. xx01 - xx05 Inside Sales Managers xx06 --xx19 Inside Sales Reps xx20 - xx29 Future use xx30 - xx35 Field Sales Managers xx36 - xx45 Field Sales Reps xx46 - xx59 Non-sales office personnel xx60 - xx79 Non-office personnel xx80 - xx83 Conference rooms xx84 - xx89 Warehouse xx90 - xx99 Lunch room, Lobby, Network room The first 2 numbers(xx) are assigned to a branch and then the second 2 numbers are related to what department the user is in.
