Brand new SV9100, upgraded sw from v1.7 to v3.0.51 and voicemail will not start up. When logging in, I receive an error message saying "The server date is 2007-09-24" for some reason the voicemail is not updating the date and time from the 9100. If I change my laptop to 2007, I can log in. Possible the 3.0.51 is not compatible with the current UM firmware?

Generally a hard reboot of the UM8000 will solve this by pressing the Grey load button until the left most LED flashes. Can't say that I've seen this with the UM8000 in the past few years. The only time I've seen this is if the UM8000 was in the system when it was defaulted and picked up the default time and date.

I found this in the UM8000 manual
"5.3 Setting Up UM8000 Date and Time
The UM8000 Mail automatically synchronizes its time and time zone with the phone system time on boot up. Manual adjustments on the voice mail are not needed or available." which doesn't help much..

Easy quick fix is to change the date on your laptop, then use Putty to get into Linux and change the date in the CLI, then back out, set your date back on the laptop and you should have access to the web GUI.

2nd doghart's suggestion - That should work too - However, if you do an orderly UM8000 card shutdown first, then turn the power off the SV, wait a few seconds (or at least 'till you hear the the 2nd shutdown click) on power up, it "should re-sync to the SV clock, I've never had it fail to set the clock on the UM8000 blade - I haven't done much to UM8000 blades lately, but I'm pretty sure I've also set the clock at the UM8000 blade front panel, plugging in a monitor and keyboard

I had the wrong time on my fresh UM8000 installation. I noticed that it at least had the right date, or well, close to it. It was a day ahead. I looked closer and realized I really just had a time zone issue. I checked 10-12-04 and it was correct. I logged into the UM8000 via putty and selected Configuration and then Set Time Zone. It automatically prompted a reboot and now we're good to go!
