I am a little bit curious about phone based administration.

I downloaded some manual, such as "IP Office Basic Edition - Quick Mode R8.1 Phone Based Administration", or "IP Office Essential Edition - PARTNER Version Phone Based Administration".

But it looks not suitable for Essential Edition R9.X. Even the Phone Menu is totally different.

Does anybody have some manual about Phone based Administration for Essential Edition R9.X?

Essential Edition is full IP Office mode. Very limited telephone set administration, it is intended to be maintained through the Manager application.

Thank you, guys.
Just in case that you could only talk to customer on the phone to change something while there is not any remote access.

There's not much you can do through the phone - check the knowledge base under Phone User Guides - not the quick guides, but the full blown guide for the phone

• Checking the system and software version
• Checking the time settings
• Setting the date
• Setting the time
• Setting the time offset
• System shutdown
• Memory card/file system management
• System alarms

Not a lot that is useful. Remember that there is web manager that you can walk the customer through, or do a go-to-meeting connection with them, or load admin on their computer and work with them on that.
