Hello everyone. I have a Vodavi STS system and today I notice it did a reboot randomly (twice so far). I don't think the system actually does a reboot but the phone line goes dead and the phone at the workstation would go off and back on.
what would cause this and how do I resolve this issue. Any suggestion is very much appreciated.

Just an update. Since wednesday, it hasn't done it. I wonder if its a glitch or if a battery needs replacing?

The STS KSUs have two issues. Yes, the memory battery fails like clockwork at about five years or so. There is also a power supply issue in some versions (I believe it is a capacitor) that causes random reboots. This gets worse when there are several expansion cards in the cabinet. They will run OK with no extra cards, but the added power load of more cards increases the frequency of the reboots/lockups.
