Can I have a Message waiting light for Phdn 500 on multiple phones, or only on the phone of the owner of 500?

If so, is there a limit to # of phones.
I have a small group of people who when a call is transferred to 500, anyone available can/will answer, but if no one is available, the call goes to IVP8 r2 mbx 500 and lights light.

Customer wants to make some changes and I am looking at options.

You can only have one message light for Phdn 500, that being the owner of Phdn 500, but you can have mailbox 500 turn on and off multiple message waiting lamps and you can have those lamps log into Mbx 500 when pressed.

I frequently do exactly this when installing at a residence.

I use MB10 as the one that collects messages, set all phones VMID code to 10, then in the notify section of MB10, have it turn on the light for 10, then add more notifications for 11, 12, or whatever other phone.

I do try to limit it to just three phones, although I'm not sure that there's really any limit.

We have one site with multiple GD mailboxes that notify at least 10 extensions each so I don't think there is a limit!

Thanks for the info. Not sure why it wouldn't be as simple as putting a PhDn Message waiting light key on each phone, but what do I know.

I don't know how other people make the template, but I usually create a 2 new templates replacing the %U with a %V and using the variable field for each extension.

And I am pretty sure that there is a limit of notification fields per mailbox, because I remember running into this limit for an IVP8. I just don't remember how many off the top of my head.
