I have a stange problem, with Plantronics amp, and headset, I have a few users that are getting a delay with people being able to hear them when they answer a call. The users are on different ports, on the phone system (Axxess 8.1). I was able to figure out that it was the headset by trying a different model from Plantronics. The question that I need an answer to, is their a switch, or function that I was enable to remove the delay. The reason that I ask is my phone vendor remembers seeing this, but did not remember what they did to fix.

hmmm, not aware of any setting outside of auto connect settings for ACD. What model phone are you using?

I've noticed that the CS50 with the handset lifter seems to have a small delay in lifting the handset, sometimes a long delay.
What type of headset are you folks using?

I had this delay issue a few weeks ago. A scheduled Major Reset fixed it for me, and I'm pretty sure I found the suggestion in this message board somewhere.

I set it up to reset that night at 11pm in Session Manager under System / Maintenance / Major Reset Scheduling / and the next day the issue was resolved. I now have it set to perform a Major Reset once a week and the issue has not returned.

Maybe I am misunderstanding the problem, but have you tried enabling the Headset Connect Tone flag?

This station flag is located in System\Devices and Feature Codes\Stations\Local\<station>\Flags.

(Inter-Tel phones only) Some headsets have a power-saver mode that disables the headphone after a period of silence. To prevent these headsets from missing portions of incoming calls, enabling this flag allows the phone to generate a tone that activates the headset before connecting to an incoming call. In the default state, it is disabled.
