I have a client that has a CTX100. They do not want to use code calling for long distance. They have one line that has unlimited long distance and the other line is for local calls only. How can I set up the CTX100 to allow local and long distance on their primary line one and only allow local calls on Line 2? I new at this and just installed network emananger and am able to successfully connect to the CTX100 over a dial up connection. All phone will have access to both lines.

Destination restrictions are controlled per extension. What you can do is to disable all long distance for everyone by changing the DR table 1. Then separate the lines into 2 different OLGs and turn on DR for only one OLG.

Thanks for your reply. I will give that a try. I may needs some help in setting this up. I have remote access but it is very slow. I will take a look at the setting to see if I can see what you are talking about in the settings.

David,
Here is what I found in e-manager and made changes to.
Trunk -> OGL - There was only one OGL so I created OGL group 2 (default setting with DR disabled) Trunk -> Trunk Assignments - Changed Line 2 to OGL 2 (no other changes)
In DR Level table 1 settings were at (made no changes): 532 DESTINATION RESTRICTION TABLE ALLOW/DENY DEFINITION is Deny 533 DESTINATION RESTRICTION LEVEL TABLE ASSIGNMENT is blank 534 DESTINATION RESTRICTION LEVEL EXCEPTION TABLE ASSIGNMENT is blank 111 DESTINATION RESTRICTION LEVEL is disable
I'm not at the location to test. Does this look right to you?

David,
The good news is that the phone system still works (I hate making remote changes when the client is 160 miles way). The bad new is line 2 still has unrestricted long distance calling.
What did I miss in the set up?

I believe we are getting real close to crossing over the line of user help, as this board has a policy of offing technician level support. I may need to send a private message to provide details.
But basically I asked that you spit the lines into 2 different OLGs so you can apply Destination Restriction to one OLG, but not the other. Currently DR table 1 is completely unrestricted. When you change the restrictions and apply it to only one of the OLGs, the other line will ignore the restrictions.
BUT LCR (when you dial 9) always applies restrictions, so this will only work if the use picks up the phone and directly selects a line.
I'll send a PM in a minute.
