My hard drive in my Elite 48 just crashed. I cloned it a few years ago for that reason. However, logging in thru Cosessions it asks for a 13 number activation code. I have a 4 port system. Anyone know a code that will work or who to call that will give me a code? Can email me as shown below. Thanks in advance.

The code is there to keep people from doing what you trying to do.
Your best be is to locate a used Elite voice mail or upgrade to a new system.

Is the 13 digit code in a file on the hard drive? I can use Cosession to transfer the files and view them with notepad but I have no idea which file to check. The thing is, it's all legit - I paid for the system and it shouldn't be so hard to get a code. No one at NEC would help since it's out dated.

Many of us have tried this and all of us have failed. you are wasting your time trying and would be best spending your time searching for a replacement machine.

As a side note I believe the memory is paired with the drive in some way (I had 2 faulty AD8 voicemails which is the big brother of the one you have) As an experiment, I tried swapping the drives and got nowhere but when I also swapped the memory sticks, one of them came good!
