Yes i can do that , but maybe i am confused because of working on Nortel and having a mailbox answer instead of the AA if the CFNA rings are less the then the AA delayed rings,, So on the IP500 Basic Avaya can i set the vm cover rings less then the AA delay rings , that is what i was trying ask?? So if i set the Voicemail cover rings at 2 and the AA delay rings at 4 there won't be a Voicemail box greeting answering before the AA menu? Thanks for any clarification.

Is this a basic Partner or a basic Nortel I believe that programming is the same Change the rings on VMS and make sure the autoVM is active for that extension. Again this extension does not ring on incoming. Right Give it a try

It does not matter whether or not your phone rings on any CO Lines.
The call will not be answered by an extensions Voice Mail unless the extension is selected in a trunks Coverage Destination area.
