Recently when employees put their phone on dnd at the end of the day when they return in morning the phone is off dnd. This has happened repeatedly in the last couple of weeks. We have an Intertel 550.8000 system, does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks,
Richard

There are a couple of reasons that will happen: There is some CT app changing DND status for the phones (unlikely) The system is resetting and reverting to an older version of DB in flash. DND state is saved in the DB so if a previous DB is reloaded and those sets were not in DND when the DB was written to flash, they will not have DND enabled.

Is there a setting where as the DB gets written to flash on set schedule, or is this handled manually? We rescently had some software changes made to our system and I rember the rep saying that she updated our db, but this was done about 2 weeks ago.

If you click on 'System' while in db programming, you will see 'Periodic Backup Save Time' which is the time the db is automatically backed up to the compact flash.
Are you using any CT apps such as Call Center Suite, OAISYS or Xarios? Any of those apps have the ability to manipulate DND.
I'd pull a db save and run it through the tester. If the db is corrupt and it has been saved to the compact flash, the system will continue to attempt to backup from the flash.
