Hello, We have an Inter-Tel 5000 and we use Unified Messaging v2.221. I have just recently setup a couple of new PC with the software installed and I am having issues with the UM software to sync correctly with the phone system. My new users have to listen to a message on the phone and delete it and then delete it out of email, same with delete from email and then delete from phone. I have tried playing with the different phone options in Outlook and I have them set correctly, but the UM and phone system are not in sync with each other?? I have compared settings from a working PC to a new PC, but no change.
Is there something I am missing?? Maybe a new version of the UM software??
Thanks for the time. Take care, Jon

They are using Office XP SP3 running on Windows XP SP2. No Windows Firewall. They emails are going into Outlook, but just not getting deleted when messages are deleted from phone.

Do you have the delete option set up to delete from server when deleted from Outlook in the Synchronization options? (From OL, Tools, Unified Messaging Options)
You are using UM and not just fwd/copy, right?

Yes, I do have the delete options set in Outlook. It seems not matter what options I am choosing, it is not working. I did however get the download messages and remove from server to work, but that is totally not what they wanted.
Yes, we are using UM.
