Need some explanation about the part #. Any one can tell us what the 3p means? in the DT300 series it was 1P, but in the new model it is 3P it was a question asked by a curious customer...! and I could NOT answer....

The suffix 3P indicates a modification or change was performed by NEC. It could simply be a different micro chip was used or a value changed to improve audio quality.
