I have a UX5000 that has a couple of conference phones (SLT type) connected to it. Just recently one of the conference bridge numbers they call regularly does not work properly. When they call the conf number - the system answers, but when they enter the bridge number it just hangs up after a couple of seconds.
If they call the conference bridge from a digital station on the system, it works fine - and it used to work fine from these phones. I tested every SLT port on the system with an analog phone - and it does the same thing. If I call the bridge from an analog phone on a different site - it works fine.
The site uses a PRI for all outside lines. As far as I can tell - the phones work fine for everything else. I have used the card to dial other services and make sure touch tones are porperly recognized, and that works as well.
I rebooted the PBX - no luck.
Pulling my hair out now - and I don't have a lot of that left. Hoping someone can throw an idea my way.......

Make sure your SLT ports aren't using line seizure and they can dial internally. I have seen people add fax lines and do a copy and oops.

That's not it - they can call the bridge number and it answers - but after that something is amiss. I do not have them programmed for line seizure.....
Thanks for the input.

Ok so it's not recognizing DTMF. If memory serves you have to set digital and analog settings on the port to allow DTMF reception after call is established. I think it's like 15-03 or something.

I think 20-03-03 needs to be set to direct dial rather than queuing

Thanks T-tech. I got that suggestion from someone else as well - haven't tried it yet. Looks like the setting will apply to all SLT ports on the system - so I am wondering if there is any ramifications to the other SLT devices I have on the PBX? Fax machines, modems, etc.

I never had an issue on the systems that needed it turned on.
