Here's one for you all. Let's see if you can help me better than tech support did, since they hung up on me.

Have a 7200s 4.82 with an OAS card. Using all sip lines. Digital sets at local site and VoIP at remote. They have an option in the AA that for a on call nurse the customer presses 1, it uses a dial menu and dials the set phone number. This feature was working great when they had incoming calls on pots lines and then outgoing on SIP. Once we did the port and it all went to sip, both in and outbound, this feature ceased to work. The system puts the caller on hold and after a few seconds the call disconnects. I can call the number directly from a phone on site and it works. I have SIPt>SIPt Mgi use set to on. I have looked over my programming 15 times and can't seem to find my downfall. Any ideas?

Look at the vm port activity, what does it show as dialing when the number is dialed from the vm?

Do you have the LCR digit in the dial block or the station block (eg off premise)

What you are doing is possible, i've done it before.

Yes, I have tried both lcr (9) and group (805) in the off premise prefix. Still nothing. It says it's dialing number, then call error and it hangs up. Then Flash hook after error. It worked when calling in from a regular pots line. But not from SIP to SIP. I have a work around going for now, but I need this to be as smooth as possible. I am also setting it under Full supervision.

We had something like this well the caller didnt have to press an option and it would ring the out of hours people. when they went sip it didn't transmit voice and we found out that the Mgi/MPS ports needed to be open even though it was sip in and back out. that may help you.

You do have a valid CLI number programmed against the VM ports don't you?

Most SIP providers here reject calls without a valid CLI number

Yes, I do have all the ports open for MGI and CLI is set on the ports for the VM. It worked before on Analog in and SIP out, but it's not SIP in to SIP out. I have turned off MPS and enabled SIPt>SIPt MGI. Still not sure what's going on, especially since the VM doesn't tell you much in it's logs.

Try turning on debug on the port activity.

What does a wireshark trace show?

Turn Debug on which port? How can I do this since it's a MP20S with the on board vm? You got me there Nameless, lol.
