This just "happened" one day, is in a church and all of a sudden the preschool, which has its own line, VM does not pick up when you dial. auto atttendant status reception mode disable all transfer service
message reception mode message recording mode
incomplete handling leaving a message is enabled
not sure what else to try. going to turn off the TVS unit and turn it back on to see if it comes back to its senses. looks like all the user settings are correct and no on has been in the unit...
Any help would be appreciated, thanks, Dave

Its on a 8/16 system, 4 CO, including the one in question which rings at the station, but is available on all phones. One thing I noticed is that it is a backup alarm line. The other thing I noticed is that there are two jacks in the TVS, only one of which is plugged into a port (port one). I plugged the other into port 2 and called in, but still no answer. It is getting into the phone system, I can hear it, and answer it when at a station. Just stuck there, not going to the TVS that I can tell.
I dont have software for this system, perhaps I will have to buy programmator. usually just try to do minor bits with the phones.
re the time service, I should mention all the other lines go into the VM just fine.
Thanks, Dave

Thanks for the reply, I would need that explained, or more step by step on how to check that.

In my alphabetical index, Intercept Routing (no answer) appears and it references 203 and 409,410. It's an alternative destination for calls that time out to a DIL 1:1 or DIL 1:N.
Since the I's only have two entries (at least in the TD-308 manual in my hands, 1232 in the van), you ought to be able to find it fairly quickly.
