Vodavi 3515 Starplus STS will not boot up and has a bad speaker. Could the two be related?

Does it sit at "NO Sync" Screen or is the screen all weird? Could be a bad display and bad speaker. But yes they could be related.

The screen displays DTU-24D and KSU or KTU on the second line ... It looks like it is trying to load firmware, but that is as far as it goes, along with some lights blinking.

Youe RAM battery is most likely dead. You may be able to boot up the system by moving switch 8 to the opposite position. This switch is on the dip switch bank on the back plane. This will default the system and it will need to be re-programmed. The database programming will not hold during a power failure, unless you replace the battery which should have three volts dc.
