Mitel 5000 running 5.1 software
Wanted to forward a user's IP phone extension to his home office number.
I first tried forward on the phone itself and it only worked with internal calls. External calls hit VM and did not go any further.
When I made a STAR app and CRA with a phantom ext that forwarded to his home number - it worked with internal and external calls.
Did I do this right or is there an easier way?

If the phone was manually forwarded, any system forward path should be ignored and no calls should end up in voice mail. Is DEE in use or is this phone a member of a hunt group?

I do not believe we use DEE. This phone is not in any hunt groups.
