I am looking to connect our Inter-Tel Axx 9.0 to our IVR. We have 4 T1 cards.

Can I use the serial ports on the T1 cards in some way? Or the serial ports on the CPC card. Or do I need a seperate T1 card?

I will be connection to a Dialogic card in our IVR. If I need an addition card, can it just be connected directly to the Dialogic?

Thanks,
yanky

I believe you are going to need s single line card, then you can connect your dialogic card to the single line ports.

The serial ports are only for RS232, to program the cards from a computer. You would need an SLC to connect to the Dialogic cards.

So I would come off the SLC(16 ports) from the amphenol cable to what?(a block cable terminator?) And then into the dialogic 24 port card?
BTW, we are in the planning/proof of concept stage before we move forward.

Thanks,
yanky

You would need to connect the 25 pair cable to a 66 block. Then you would run cables to the Dialogic card. I would assume it uses 4 pin or 8 pin modular jacks.

OK... I think I am getting it... I would need a Dialogic Analog card, not a T1 card? So we are going slc to analog.
Any way to go Inter-tel T1 to Dialogic T1?

I am not sure, you might be able to do it using a T1 crossover cable. I would call up your Inter-Tel dealer, assuming you have one.
