We just got a device to play a custom message and on hold music. It has two RCA outputs on it. One is 8 OHMS 3W the other is 600 OHMS. I have two questions; 1) Am I correct in thinking that I will hook to the 600 OHMS output 2) I found on here that Pins 3 & 6 are supposed to be used for MOH on my ECS. Which pin do I wire to the different connectors of the RCA connector.
-Thanks

Use the 600 ohm input, but turn the potentiometers all the way down before you connect the source.
The RCA plug really has only two connection points. Since you're not worried about external speakers battling out of phase, connect the inside/plug connector to pin 2, the outside/ring connector to pin 5 for MOH
Connect the source to pins 3 and 4 for BGM
Pins 1 and 6 are used for a trigger if your MOH equipment requires a trigger.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
