How do I send a call straight to a voicemail box after a night greeting in an opening box? There is no check box option for it. I tried xxx8 and while it does go to viocemail when I manually dial it, entering that in "After Night Greeting, Route To: xxx8 " does not.
Thanks in advance.

That's what I'm saying I tried. I've entered xxx8, which goes to voice mail when I dial it in AA, but when I enter that in "after greeting send to..." it does not work, AA does not understand the entry. I can send callers to that extension afterward, but it rings the extension first, then goes to VM.
I could perhaps place that extension on DND manually at night and that would send calls straight to VM.

Maybe set up a virtual on the phone, send it to that virtual extension at night, which is cf always to voice mail. Make the button type "77" I believe.

I forgot to mention that the extension is a virtual. It rings on a button on the reception phone. There is another button to check VM on it as well.
Here's the call flow:
Caller goes to AA, with a chance to dial an extension, or the directory, or 0, times out to 0. 0 = a virtual that rings on the reception phone. After 4 rings, it goes to VM.
After hours, it does the same thing, only it plays the night greeting. I would like to set it not to ring the extension before going to VM.
Could a virtual be set up with a DND button?

Use a transation box & set the night trans to no. Set the virtual as the owner of the trans box.
