Have a school we take care of and they needed to add some more Mag Locks to some doors and they wanted to have a button to release the door , no problemo, except when I go to activate the next Door Relay I get a message saying that"its being used by paging or assigned to something else" basically saying its in use, when I go to select Door Contact 3, Biou as Device and contact relay 3-4 I get the message, If I assign a whole other card BIOU-2 I can assign Contact 3 to BIOU 5-8, the problem witht that is I need 2 Contacts, so when I assign a 2nd contact to the 2nd card I get the same error, Is there something that needs to be done in order to use more than 1 Relay off the card, we are using 2 paging Zones off the same card, when i go to where it shows what each contact is being used for it shows 1-4, 1: Door Phone 2-4: Not Used
Thanks in advance.

IF you can't figure out how to do this with a BIOU contact, I have another solution using relays that will do as many contacts as you have single line ports.

Have to work now, could explain more later, PM me if you need.

Thanks, Bracha

what is currently in use is 1 port off the BIOU Card as Contact 1 and Contact 2 is off a DDCB (Door Box Controler), not sure why it was setup that way instead of using the other 3 on the card when they are not actually using the door phone it self off the DDCB , I would like to simply use Contact2-4 off the bIOU card . bass

I hate to renew this thread, but have you gotten a resolution? I am having the same exact problem. I can program only 1 of 4 relays.

This is a limitation of programming. You can only program 1 door control per BIOU.

Here is a part from the programming manual:

This assignment is used to configure up to 10 door lock control relays. The contacts of these relays are used to control electrical door locks. One door lock relay can be assigned to each of the eight door phone control boxs (DDCB, Port -B) and/or one to each of the two BIOU PCBs (any one of the four control relays).
