I used to use hyper terminal 20 years ago on the DK and also when making small changes, I didn't know it could store and sort the entire data base however.

If you dump all of the programming (procedure not listed here) then you get the whole system in text format.
You can then manipulate/edit the text file and then up load it again.
Very quick way of creating and programming DID numbers for example 71-0, 71-1 etc
