I bought a used IPedge system and an Audiocodes MP114 gateway. Is there a way for an IP phone to access each line directly on the gateway, not by pooling? Please tell me how.

The easiest way to simulate line appearances is by using GCO keys. The first incoming call will hit GCO index 1. The second incoming call will hit GCO index 2.
When you press a GCO key for an outgoing call, it would work similar to a pool line. The difference is that you can simulate the individual line appearances on all phones.
This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but the IP Edge does not have individual lines, only SIP trunks.

That may work. How would I program that?

It's pretty easy. Set the GCO 1 in the ILG and OLG. On the keys assign GCO key 1 index 1 for the 1st key. On the second key program GCO 1 Index 2, then GCO 1 Index 3, for all the lines. When you press a key for an outgoing call the same key will light up on all phones. For incoming calls the 1st incoming call will light up on Index 1 on all phones.
I have used this for PRI and SIP trunk for users that want the look and feel of a squared system with line appearances. I have not used this same method for an IP Edge, but programming is the same as a CIX.

That was easy to program. The GCO button dials out fine, but it is slow. It does not work for incoming calls. I am not sure what I did wrong.

The only problem is when dialing out from the IPedge when pressing the GCO key it will always pick either the first or last CO line at the Audiocodes gateway,
For example if you have CO line 2 coming into the IPedge on GCO 2 that works fine for incoming calls but when you press GCO2 to make an outgoing call it gets CO 4 or Co2 depending on how the truck ID routing is setup for ascending or descending.
The only way to get the outgoing to pick up correctly is to program the LCR to add leading digits to OLG 2 and in the Audiocodes setup the manipulation table to remove the added digits and select the trunk ID for CO line 2.
It is complicated but it can be done.

I got incoming calls to work great. Dialing out is still slow. I am not sure why it takes so many extra seconds to place a call.

I don't recall what it is on the IPEdge, but do you have your Public Dialing Plans set up? Where you define how many digits are in a specific plan (such as 1NXX or NXX)?

Thank you for all your help. Although I got the IPedge and the Audiocodes box to work, I decided that I would prefer the older CTX28 for my application. So I am selling my IP phone system on ebay.
