My customer has an IPKII with voicemail card (FMS). I need to assign the reception's extension 228 when callers dial 0 when hearing the main greeting.
Can the programming be done via the phone? Instead of cosession?

No, one key dialing is setup via cosession.

Depending on the call flow, if it is the operator extension you are using, it can be changed via the system manager access through a phone.

I'm a bit familiar with the programming. What programming section do I go to assign or modify this function? What do you mean by call flow? It is set-up now for the voicemail system to answer after 2 rings, but when you dial 0, it goes nowhere.

I take it you are dialing 0 after the VM answers and that this is an auto attendant situation. If so then you have to program the voicemail for this feature, it isn't programmed like the telephone system and a specific software package is needed called Cosessions.

In the Greetings section, there is a section for one key dialing. You can set 0 to be whatever extension you need.

Alternatively, you can assign the "operator extension" to act as your dial 0 extension.
