What is the deal with performing Imports and/or Exports between nodes on Inter-tel Axxess (ver 9) systems? I've done import/exports before but not sure if I am doing them properly.

Does an Import AND an Export have to be performed within Session Manager on each system for each node? Inter-tel states (in the help file) that changed Extension information is broadcast to other nodes automatically. When is it done and how often?

Inter-tel is pretty vauge and I really would like to know if I have to do this whole Import/Export process anymore.

Any db changes are automatically sent to all connected nodes upon a change/add unless:
There is an active DB programming session on a target node or
Changes being sent out are in conflict with existing devices in the target's db
Under normal circumstances you should not need to import or export manually. It is typically used to force a synch or to synch after one of the above scenarios.

Is that also true for Mailbox changes and additions? I seen in Diag Mon the extension information being transmitted shortly after the changes are made, but I don't see any mailbox information being sent.
