Just open some box from way back in time when I was a productive member of society ( working ).

It was in a D914 punch down tool , I did a search on internet and nada . It looks to be some specialty termination.

Here are some pics

My first post with pics so bear with me as I hope they load correctly.

Is that little cylinder just behind the two prongs a magnet?

The cylinder looks like the body of the bit. You slide a locking collar up, push in and twist the blade into the chuck to install or remove it.

It looks like some sort of variation of a Bix, Krone or 110. eh

This looks like the blade that Harris made for ADC blocks. Specialised Products Corp.listed this blade in their catalog until the late 1990's. The price
was about $120, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, definitely looks like ADC...we used their patchbays at the radio station in school.

I agree. Either ADC or maybe 3M, who had their own line of blocks.

Looks like you gentlemen have ID this little bugger. I just wish
I could remember WHY I had it in my possession. I was the Bell tech for the Philly stock exchange in the 80/90's . We would work on anything they had without any questions. 1A2 to Token Ring LAN.We would joking say "we will change the oil on your Mercedes on a T&M order "

Thank you all for your input

When I was with GTE, I ran the (outsourced) maintenance and operation of the Voice & Data Networks for Irving Trust and then The Bank of NY in the '80s and '90s.

We would do anything that came on a work order. It was all about personal service.

We never got a request to change the oil, and in some ways, I'm surprised. ;-)
