System 9.122.
I have a client who is FWDing her phone to another extension for a few days. But she says when her original extension is called and the call transfers to the new extension, the call will not go to voice mail if no one picks up.
Both extensions have voice mail and forwarding paths for VM. Any ideas why the VM will not pick up at the second extension?

Under the forwarding path for the second extension, check the setting for "Fwd Call Type - CO Transfer/AA/VM" - make sure it is set to "Yes".

I would also make sure the "Station - No Answer" is set to "Yes" as well.

If it is a manual forward this will not work. Manual forwarding overrides system forwarding. You would need to build a forwarding path with the second extension and then voice mail as the second path. Then it will forward to the proper mailbox.

Can you elaborate on your answer a little bit more? We are having the same issue, but I don't know how to fix it. This happens to any extension. Does it mean that I would have to create a second path to all extensions? So, how would you do it?
