Hello,

Quite a newbie here. We have a Panasonic KX-TD1232
phone system. The phone at Jack 01 (Master) is a Panasonic
KX-T7230. I want to set up two-way recording for a particular extension/jack number.

I am quite sure I know the jack number for that extension. The
extension is 129 and the jack is 30.

I know I can use program 005 for Flexible CO button assignment.
The button code for Two-way record is 83 according to the manual.

What is the sequence of keys/digits to press to accomplish this?

Thanks
Mike

It's much easier than that. This is user-level programming. Go to extension 129 and:

1. Press the program button and dial 99.

2. Press the button you want to program.

3. Dial 90 plus the extension number for the voice mail system (usually 165).

4. Press the autodial/store button to save.

5. Press the program button again to end programming.

Note: This must be a CO or DSS button that has an LED indicator. You can't use the feature (PF) keys.

PS: I'm not sure where you got 83 for the feature code.

Yes. Because this is station-level programming, it must be done from the phone that you wish to program.
