One of our techs laptop died. As a boss I am trying to contain costs but also need to pay enough to get a good item. It is for work only. Runs IP Office Manager and associated software, teamviewer, excell, word, and acrobat. Maybe a couple other programs but not much. Looking for new. What would you buy? Processor? Hard drive size? Screen size? Ram? Battery (4 cell or 6 cell?), etc. Thanks In advance

We have been using Lenovo ThinkPad e550's since around August of last year with good results. We went with the i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, 500GB HD, runs all needed applications for Phones, Remote Support, and Office with no problems. It has a 6-Cell battery, price wise it was in the $600-$700 range if memory serves.

Why is this in the Avaya forum?
-Hal The question concerns a suitable laptop computer to run Avaya IP Office Manager.
