If i default this sys will the licence key installed be wiped ? or is there a way to copy licence key from the sd card before defaulting As you can see im not familiar with officeserve worked on lots of samsung dcs a few years back

You cannot save the license with a default but a samsung dealer can get you the license from Samsung as long as it's an MP10a not an MP10. Samsung no longer has the ability to view licenses since they changed to the new format.
A Samsung dealer could also work with samsung to clear the password and save you some headache.

Only reasoning there would be liscence keys on system is if they are using onboard mgi's for SIP or IP phones. What are they using for phones and trunks?

The officeserv 7100 system arrives from the factory with default data. Connect it to trunks, stations and power, turn the system on and it is fully operational. The only thing left to do is customize the data to fit the customer's needs.
