I am looking for a break-fix (hourly) tech who can fix issues as they come up at our customer's site i.e. creating new extensions, call routes, voicemail, caller id, etc. on an Avaya IP Office R8.1 system.
This will most likely be all remote support as needed occasionally onsite visits will be required (at a higher rate). If you are interested or know someone who is please have them private message or email me their contact details.
Thank you,

Thank you, Since you mention occasional on site support a specific location would be helpful (NY is a big state!). We have several Avaya dealers on here including some from NY.

He's up in the Albany area Ken Up here you have Carousel and Meridian (formerly MAC Source). I have no idea if they would want to offer support in the form you want. Typically with IP Offices etc they want a Service Contract.

This will most likely be all remote support as needed occasionally onsite visits will be required (at a higher rate) Looks like you are setting yourself up as what we call a "national". A tech takes a job from the national and the national bills the customer. The national will never pay the tech his normal rate, makes the tech jump through hoops to get paid and in many cases doesn't get paid at all. For these reasons most nationals are looked upon with disdain here. So if you can assure that you will pay the normal hourly rate and provide a credit card to be kept on file that will be charged when you place an order you might get more responses. -Hal
