I have an Inter-tel 5000 v2.0.8.288 and have been able to connect to it via session manager over the WAN before, but am now getting a "Database Connection Failed" error for over 24 hours. I read in the forum that the IP port on the 5000 sometimes locks up as a result of a network outage and the system may need to be power cycled. Is there any other way to "unlock" the IP port on the 5000 besides rebooting the whole system.
Thanks

gg, It is supposed to drop that socket after 15 minutes however I have personnally seen it stay open indefinitely. There is no way that I am aware of the drop it without a reboot.
