I am just full of questions here lately. I am going to install a Summit 80 networked to a MBX between a banks main location and a branch. I am wondering what ports will need to be opened to allow this so I can go ahead and get the IT guys working on this for me. Also, any other tips you might want to share with me would be greatly appreciated. This is my first network install. Thanks Guys!! I have already got my "magic number" to allow the networking license for the MBX.

If you are on the public internet I suggest you use a public static ip at each site and hang the systems in Front of any firewall or VPN. If you are using a wide area LAN/Metro-e a lot of ports have to be opened...
