Customer wants voicemail to transfer directly to voicemail. They do not want the phone to ring, any solutions? Also we have phones programmed to pick up CO lines on out going calls, but when they want to call an extension via a button (no outside call) the line gets put on hold causing them to have to hang up the line after a few moments. How do we correct this?

Put voicemail call collection group into call route xx. assign soft code xx72(or whatever you want). Stop all lines from ringing by putting all lines in a line group and assigning line group ringing assignments by pushing ESC & double clicking(unassigned) ringing assignment group with soft code xxt. Hold-- Assign each extension to its own hold group. Do not assign any two users to the same hold group.
No two users should be in the same hold group.

1. If you want to transfer a live caller to someone's voicemail box, press Feature, dial 14, then dial the extension number of the mailbox. For convenience, put Feature-14 on a button so you just press the button and dial the extension number.

2. When you lift the handset, it selects an outside line. Since you want to speak with an internal extension, either press Intercom after lifting the handset, before pressing the one-touch button for the other extension, OR, press the one-touch button BEFORE you lift the handset.
