Customer is extending their 9100 into a building that has an existing Norstar that currently is connected to an amplifier and numerous paging horns throughout the facility. Problem is there is no copper connection to this building, only fiber.
Only thing I can come up with is to install an ITL set and connect the speaker leads into the amplifier.
What does everybody else do? Would be great if there was an IP version of the PGD adapter.

Been asking for that for years. The good thing is that a UX IP phone can be used so you don;t need to sacrifice a new phone. Did what you did for a couple situations and works fine.
We used the SNOM PA1 system on NEC UC3's. They were easy to set up and use. They are however a standard SIP unit. So you may need the appropriate license to use it on the 8100/9100.
We also use SNOM PA1 units on all NEC SV systems - absolutely perfect - I'm not sure how many we have in, but I can tell you how many we have problems with if interested... "zero" Really neat reliable solution from Germany
We have used a pair of Valcom VIP-801 paging units. One is set up at the PBX side for connection to the 600ohm external page port. The other is across the LAN providing a page output to the amplifier. Expensive, but very easy and does not require a license.
